Should there ever be a RAID failure then offsite backup on tapes, clouds and external hard drives are ideal solutions? 

  • Refrain from using a RAID system 

Raid data recovery recommends that if you notice any sign of data loss, then the next best step would be to promptly quit using the system altogether. Doing so would curtail further damage on an account of the continuous operations with the system which may worsen the problem and overwrite the data.
